Hi, I’m Lora - co-founder of Inner Studio

Lora discovered her passion for holistic wellness in 2011 after becoming a Licensed Skin Therapist. In 2013, she completed her first Yoga Teacher Training at Power Yoga Works in Philadelphia, where she first experienced how yoga helps us feel more connected to our bodies and emotions.

In 2019 Lora moved to San Diego and spent much of her time there deepening her studies—completing yin yoga training, earning certification in Integrative Somatic Therapy through The Embody Lab, training in sound facilitation, and completing advanced yoga teacher training toward her 500-hour RYT. Over the past several years, she has also deepened her personal practice in Hatha yoga and developed a strong curiosity around Traditional Chinese Medicine. She currently studies Meridian Yoga under Dr. Rose Erin Vaughn, weaving these teachings into how she approaches movement and healing.

At the heart of Lora’s work is a love for weaving together energetic Eastern practices like yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine with more tangible Western approaches of somatic therapy and the understanding of nervous system support.

Life eventually brought Lora back to her East Coast roots, where she settled in Virginia Beach with her husband, Kyle. Inner Studio is the expression of their shared vision: a space that brings their favorite practices together under one roof.

Hi, I’m Kyle - co-founder of Inner Studio

Kyle is an E-RYT 500 who found yoga while recovering from a back injury in 2017. The practice quickly became a central point in his life. Kyle went on to take his 200 hour teacher training at Mesa Rim Climbing in 2019. He has since gone on to study Hatha Yoga & Meditation extensively with Jared McCann and Ashtanga yoga with David Garrigues, among other inspiring teachers.

In addition to yoga, Kyle is a dedicated handbalancer. He has spent 8 years practicing with Yuval Ayalon and Miguel Sant’ana in addition to a 3 year apprenticeship with Daniel Chavez in gymnastics style strength training.

By combining his background in fitness with a passion for the deep tradition of yoga, Kyle has a unique ability to allow students to explore their edges in a safe, but intentional manner.

Hi, I’m Meag- teacher at Inner Studio

Meag is a RYT-200 yoga teacher passionate about movement being medicine. She was introduced to the practice in 2012 while in college--and through the years has turned to yoga again and again to find challenge, calm, inner peace, and a connection to her faith. Yoga has helped her build strength, both inwardly and out, and provided an outlet for her to be capable of doing things she never thought possible (like Crow Pose or eliminating road rage!) The influences on her practice include her own struggles with movement throughout various stages of injury, regulating the nervous system, a drive for yoga being accessible to all body shapes and sizes, all sprinkled in with a teaching style that inspires a light heart and the occasional bout of laughter.

When Meag is not on her mat you can find her painting, sewing, teaching pottery classes, reading fantasy novels, and petting any and everyone's dogs.

Hi, I’m Faith- teacher at Inner Studio

Hi friends! I’m Faith, and I love all things wellness, movement, and feeling good from the inside out. Pilates is my favorite way to build strength, find balance, and reconnect with my body, and I love bringing that energy into every class.

Expect feel-good flows, a little shake, a lot of encouragement, and a welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are.

I can’t wait to sweat, strengthen, and move with you!
